Co-Fund the Farm of Life Experience. Join the Family!
Farm of Life is a spiritual, educational and natural healing center located in the rural mountains of Costa Rica. We are a heart-based business and an affordable sanctuary for health and wellness, guiding people to heal at the level of mind, body and spirit.

We invite you to donate and support our mission in keeping Farm of Life accessible to everyone. We are a break-even business and operate off of our earnings. Upkeep, maintenance and expansion are catching up with us. We kindly ask your support so that we may keep our prices at their most affordable.

Our goal is to raise $40,000. Our intention is to raise $10,000 for the renovation and maintenance of guest rooms and spa; another $2,000 to update and modernize our website; and finally $28,000 to install grid-tie solar energy.

We are Brian and Jody Calvi, the owners of Farm of Life. We educate, inspire and serve from the heart every single day. Why do we care? We were both once sick with chronic diseases and healed ourselves by adopting a raw food lifestyle, reconnecting to nature and growing spiritually. We are grateful for the transformations that occurred in our own lives and it inspires us to give back to others seeking it for themselves.

We truly want our teachings and offerings accessible to all people. By keeping rates affordable, we can offer a life-transforming experience to anyone, regardless of income. It warms our hearts to know that people of all ages and walks of life have been our guests and we want many more to come!

We thank you in advance for your donation and appreciate donations of any size. Every dollar counts, and the momentum helps! We’ll be grateful that you thought of us.

Here is how your donations will be spent:

  • Building Upkeep: The cost for essential upkeep and repairs is $9,000. This includes: repair wood rot on balconies and foundations, replace tile floors, repaint roofs, revise bunk beds, reseal and varnish exterior wood, repair leak in the spa shower floor, replace window screens, install gutters. Our employees are super-talented and they’re ready to work hard on these projects, once the supplies are on hand.
  • Grid-Tie Solar: Our goal is to install 50 solar panels to have grid-tie solar energy. We live for prana, so isn’t about time we harness solar power! Our complex consumes an average of 2,100-kilowatt hours per month, which will require installing 50 high-efficiency panels. We seek to raise $26,000, which covers the cost of installation and all the fees and equipment needed to comply with the grid-tie rules. Going grid-tie solar will give Farm of Life an annual cost savings of $8,000 a year, which is an invaluable return on investment and will continuously assist us to remain affordable for our guests.
  • Website Rebuild: For many technical reasons, our website needs to be upgraded to a more current and attractive platform for $3,000. Our current site is not mobile responsive and we are not able to changes to it ourselves. Plus, the new platforms are impressive and will give our website a sharp, clean, attractive and photo-heavy presentation.

Impacting Humanity... One Person at a Time
Our hearts are set on continuing to help people transform their lives. With your donation, we can keep our campus as the beautiful sanctuary and healing space that it already is. If you’ve been here, then you know what we mean. If you have not visited Farm of Life yet, this is a perfect opportunity to consider a trip to our sanctuary!

Tripadvisor Review

“Owners Brian and Jody Calvi had a vision of creating a place for guests to connect; with nature, with each other, and each with his or her own health. They have succeeded in a most beautiful way.”
Tripadvisor Review

“You may first think it is all about the food, which is wonderful and fresh and prepared masterfully, but it's not. You may then think it's about the yoga, adventure hiking and tours, which are peaceful, beautiful, and exciting, but it's not. Farm of Life is a home that is opened up to you to rest your heart and soul. Come to heal from the inside out. Your outlook will change and therefore so will your life.”
