Your hosts, husband and wife team Brian and Jody Calvi, are health enthusiasts. Their respective histories with disease and long fights for recovery inspired them to open Farm of Life. They are grateful for the healing journey they’ve experienced, and feel their higher purpose is to give back to others in need. Brian and Jody are here to assist guests, support your healing journey, arrange tours and services and make your visit exemplary. Both Brian and Jody are health coaches. Brian is passionate about fitness, leads cycling tours and is a dynamic workshop facilitator. Jody is responsible for behind-the-scenes action and loves that they made their Costa Rica dream a reality. Brian and Jody together are studying for a PhD in Natural Health and Nutrition.
Marcus and the Gardening Crew...
Marcus is our talented and spiritually connected gardener. He is a lifetime gardener and our teacher. We are blessed to have him developing our gardens, greenhouse and fruit tree orchard. At the time of this writing, Tonio and Henry are also working hard on the farm, planting and tending to the agriculture alongside Marcus. All 3 exude great pride for the gardens they’ve designed and the success of the farm.
Our Furry Friends...
Caesar, a Costa Rica native, is the master of this domain. When he is not watching over his kingdom, he is chasing cars, digging for minerals or opening coconuts. Mambo and Max, a la the United States, quickly adapted to the freedom and open spaces of Costa Rica. They love to steal from the compost and don’t understand why mom doesn’t want them to play with the Sapo frogs.
