About Us

Campus

Peace Pool
This majestic pool has a 16-meter lane for exercise and commands incredible views! The water comes from our spring and is treated with UV-light, low-chlorine system.  It feels like silk.

Harvest House
The Harvest House is the farm's central gathering place for meals, recreation and wellness programs. This large rancho under a thatched roof has a kitchen, dining hall and lounging area. This is a space for relaxing in a hammock or on the sofa, plugging into the Internet with your personal laptop, sitting down to a game and eating dinner to the sunset. The Harvest House enjoys pleasant breezes, cool temperatures and incredible views of the ocean, valley and evening sunsets.

Yoga Shala
Our Yoga studio is an organic rancho built of natural materials, sits at the highest point on the farm, backed up to a dense forest and facing majestic ocean views.  A space of serenity ideal for a morning meditation, our daily 7 am classes, do-it-yourself Yoga and watching the day pass by until the evening sunset. The rancho is equipped with yoga mats and other fitness tools.

Spa Tranquilo
Our spa is a simple healing space for massage, sound therapy, reiki and colonics.  Our two complimentary health tools – the crystal gem light rack and the molecular enhancer – are in the spa for guests to use with care.

Vitality Pool
The Vitality Pool is a spring-fed cool pool for soaking and invigoration. Refresh yourself while enjoying the forest flowers, frogs and butterflies.  This is a magical, private spot for personal time and contemplation.

Organic Farm
A major feature of the Farm of Life is the amazing abundance of flora and plant life – hundreds of tropical fruit trees intermingled with edible shrubs, ornamentals and fragrant herbs are planted all around the orchards of the farm.

Since fruit trees are vitally important for our nutrition and livelihood, we wasted no time – we planted 100 trees within the first month of owning this farm and continued planting every rainy season thereafter.  At last count (Sept 2016), there are 100 different types of fruit trees here and over 300 fruit trees in total volume…all growing and thriving.  Plus, we have nearly a dozen different types of bananas and countless bananas trees in total.  To date, we are harvesting from banana, starfruit, avocado, biriba, lemon, lime, orange, guava, rambutan, jackfruit, dragon fruit, jaboticaba, surinam cherry, noni, breadnut, cherry mangosteen, cashews, abiu, black sapote, cacao, ice cream bean, guanabana, mangosteen, mangoes, papaya and maprang trees.  More fruit and nut trees will give us a harvest in the years ahead, including durian, mamey sapote, macademia, soncoya and others. May this food forest and the aromatic fragrances nourish, heal and bless all who partake in the experience of this farm.

Greenhouse
Our greens and medicinal herbs – kale, chard, lettuces, oregano, gotu kola, basil, aloe, etc - are grown organically in the greenhouse.  We think of it as our salads-greens greenhouse, because we focus mainly on growing greens and herbs, and not vegetables. Additional vegetable fields are throughout the property and there is a nursery for the propagation and protection of plants.

Ornamental Gardens
Gorgeous, picturesque and bountiful gardens are throughout the whole campus, along every trail and view, including the magnificent large Heliconia flowers.  Lively with birds and butterflies and rich with fragrance, your senses will hardly be able to take it all in!

Meditation Spaces
Throughout our campus, you’ll find lovely, private tranquil places to sit in contemplation, including benches by the Buddha garden, platforms overlooking infinite views, sitting spots in the forest temple and sungazing vortexes.

Fresh Water Springs
There are 2 springs at Farm of Life.  One is used as our water supply – fresh, clean, pure water for drinking, bathing, the pool and greenhouse.  The other spring flows right through our Vitality Pool, where you can take a soak in the invigorating waters.

Walking Trails
There are walking trails throughout the farm, as well as a trail to the adjoining farm, Jewel of the Sun, where additional kilometers of walking trails are available to our guests.  Plus, our village 4x4 roads make for enjoyable walks and sightseeing village life.

WiFi in the Jungle
We have reliable, fiber optic internet. We stream 15-30 MGs direct to each guest room and the dining hall. The internet speed is both for uploading and downloading and is more than enough for you to tend to your emails, Zoom calls, streaming and more.

Solar
Yeah baby, we are solar powered to the core!

Forest Trail and Exercise Platform
Walk through a tropical rainforest trail (short and long loops). The terrain is steep - great for your cardiovascular system! In the middle of this trail and primary forest, we built an exercise platform – how amazing to do pull-ups while surrounded by nature’s majesty!

Bongo Bus
Our sturdy, 4x4, people-mover is an essential for getting our guests to waterfalls and home again… we do, afterall, live at the end of 10 kilometers of dirt roads.
